Lunchtime Toasted Sandwiches at Harris + Hoole - Moorgate

These guys just came outta nowhere and started springing up like daisies around London!

Having first spotted one near Moorgate Station (Opposite McDs) I thought meh why not :P

If you work around or near Moorgate, you know theres a butt load of place to chomp on and even a Food Market to contend with!

Even so, with that being the case we're all lazy buggers and bored of the familiar scene, I decide to side-step into this coffee / sandwich shop and flap my jacket with a HMPH at the other chains.
I was not disappointed... The staff here are brilliant, full of life and laughter... well depending on what time you go, it is London after all slackers so rush hour here means you're going flat out and some.

After a chat brief cavort with the waitresses we settled down on a bacon and chicken toasted sandwich and they all come with a packet of crisps.

Paper bag? Check

Monstrous sandwich inside? Check

Acceptable? 

Yes thats brown bread, but don't worry your wee cotton socks you can choose what you want waffle head ;) But regardless this sandwich is some mighty fine eats, all I needed was some ketchup but thats because I'm some uncultured swine :)

Verdict
Eat this bad boy when its hot so the cheese is still stringy but beside that the rest of the spread looked fancy, sure you could go and get a cold sandwich meal from tesco / waitrose for less than £3.50 while its about £5 here (more with a drink) but since you're busting your chops anyways you might as well indulge where you can.

8/10 (with ketchup...)

Would I go again?

Yes! Just when you thought rice pots and burgers were all the rage this slapper comes in, now make with the lunchtime american deli-sandwiches and you got a winner.
