In-N-Out Burger
I can understand why the late MJ's doc wanted to grab one these bad boys after being released from jail. At midnight these are one of the few places still open and for the price (A Double Double at $8 = £4/£5 ) they are out of this world. As a burger though.... they're miles above McDonalds but won't touch a proper burger from a restaurant or diner but shit boi at this price, I ain't complaining.
Soft springy buns, fresh veg and burger patties that don't seem like overdone road kill? Oh yes it does exist and its good too.
Rating: 5/10 (7/10 - if you're in for the price)

Johnny Rockets
Slap my buns and blast me off to Johnny Rockets because this place was worth it.
At $10-$15 just for the burger they're not an everyday option but for what you get its worth it. Planting our tushies down we ordered the Smokehouse Double at the Santa Monica Branch and that was something else.
Sure the bun was worthless compared to In-N-Out but the burger and the fries and the onion rings and the bacon..... #drool# it was so good we got another variant once we reached Vegas (The Las Vegas Squealer) ;P

You get what you pay for here and if you're after comfort food in the form of a burger, waddle on over to a Johnny Rockets. The patty is soft and juicy yet the charing has created a solid seal around the meat to keep it all contained. It won't win any awards but it'll hit the spot.
